At the gate...

It was a dark and foggy night. The only sound I could hear, was how the autumn leaves crunched under my feet. The bare tree branches that were along the road, looked like ominous skeletal arms reaching out to grab me ! I hurriedly continued on my path. Suddenly a huge iron gate appeared in front of me. I had finally arrived.

I waited. There was no one. The gate was about twice my height, black with gargoyle like figures on each side. This was a bizarre entrance for a school. Out of nowhere, a cloaked figure was looking down at me. I was so surprised, I jumped back.
